OK, so problem report # 1.1 - No Spark!

The no spark problem is now intermittent. When the car does turn over, it will run for 20+ minutes with no problems at all. I can give it gas, it will rev beautifully! Turn it off, then try to start again, no start.

I have replaced all relays with those from the automatic wire harness with no luck. I have checked each fuse, all are good.
The only SES I have are for the rear two o2 sensors which aren't connected.

Currently checking for broken/damaged wires....

Any other suggestions?

Could be a bad coil. Check all the bullshit springs that are in the coil on plug assembly, right where it contacts the plug (worth a shot).

Are you running a swapped ECU? Since the timing is so predictable almost sounds like a software problem.

Not trying to cause alarm but I don't like the sound of that idle. I mean I expect it to be loud with the headers dumped, but it sounds like a faint sharp knock in the video. Maybe it sounds better in person........

Starter is fucking with you check the crank wire on the starter see if its on tight if so when the starter heats up the solioniod on top of it it won't crank you just have to trouble shoot it

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll see what I can find when I dig a little deeper into it. I'm also thinking I may have bad gas. The gas light is on, and the rotten 87 octane as been in there since May. I'll dump in five gallons of premium to see if things improve.

The knock sound was from the exhaust puffing through the open o2 sensor bungs. Here is a new video with precat o2 sensors installed, and rear o2 sensors blocked off. It also has the y pipe installed, but it basically is putting exhaust right into the engine bay. I'll take another video once the exhaust is completed. I'm just waiting on the gaskets to arrive.

So far only codes I'm getting are related to o2 sensors. But still having a hard time starting her.

Could be old gasoline in the tank. Had similar problems when I poured gasoline I hadn't touched for months into my Eclipse. I was able to dilute most of it with premium gas to fix it.

If the 2.4 liter had problems with 50% of 4 month old gasoline, I can see why you are running into this issue when the 3.8 liter requires premium fuel to begin with.

Not much since the temperature dropped. I need to buy a wheel hub for the passenger side, once that is here, I'll have everything to do the front end suspension. Will be installing the KYB Struts with the Eibach Springs, Energy Suspension Bushings, and Moog Ball Joints. Then the new cv axles go in with fresh Royal Purple tranny fluid.

But everything is in slow motion for the winter

Looking good!! I'm currently using royal purple in my gear box, and I'm not happy with it at all. It feels to thin, doesn't shift buttery smooth. I plan on changing it with Redline oil, heard good things about them, and few guys I know are running it.
